We Need Your Help Making an Awesome Video

We’re making a “shout out to gratitude” video for Canada’s Thanksgiving and we need your help! We’re hoping to gather expressions of gratitude from people all over Canada. All you have to do is film a quick video on your cell phone. If we use your video, you’ll be paid $150 U.S. dollars.

Details

Video submissions are due by 9/8/17

Please email videos to vidsub@shareability.com. Include your full name, phone number, and paypal email address (if applicable) in the email.

In your video, do the following (in English or the language you’re most comfortable with):

  • Give a shout out to something often overlooked but awesome in your life.
  • Give a shout out to something or someone that’s very meaningful to you in life.
  • Give a shout out to the place you live.

**EXAMPLE VIDEO and SAMPLE ANSWERS below.

For variety’s sake, please provide a second version of each of your answers starting with traditional language (i.e. “I’m grateful for” or “I’m thankful for”) instead of “Shout out to”.

When Filming...

  • Film with your cell phone horizontally (sideways), an arms length away from yourself.
  • Film during the day in an area with a lot of light (outside or in a room with windows).
  • Film in an area that shows off your city or province. If possible, film with a recognizable location (Toronto Tower, Bay of Fundy, etc) in the background of your clip!

TIPS FOR SUCCESS (increase your chances of being chosen)

  • Be original. Be authentic - no acting please!
  • Give us options: send in “shout out to” and “I’m grateful for” versions of your answers.
  • Tell us WHY you’re grateful for the things you mention.
  • Have fun!
